I am happy and proud to announce that our Coalition is now part of the Global Youth Anti-Corruption Network, initially convened and supported by the World Bank Institute, the British Council Global Changemakers Program, and Jeunesses Musicales International.
The Global Youth Anti-Corruption Network (GYAC) is a global network of youth activists, journalists, artists, including musicians coming together in the fight against corruption at the global and local fronts. Annually, the network convenes the Global Youth Anti-Corruption Summit. The first summit was held in Brussels, Belgium last May 2010, and recently, the second in Nairobi, Kenya, where SK Reform Coalition first participated.
GYAC is an opportunity for SK Reform Coalition to broaden its information campaign on youth participation in governance in the Philippines; to share with and learn from different youth anti-corruption and good governance initiatives from all over the globe. GYAC also opens many doors for partnerships with different youth organizations and development partners from all over the globe.
